Marty May is an LA based company and is dedicated to incorporating everyday spectacles into their clothing. Marty travels around as much as she can, immersing herself in local nature and interpreting her visions through the clothing. Marty is also dedicated to supporting only humane labor and goes through American Apparel for the shirts while making all the bags and wallets herself.
“Elevated Tee” is the first one we’re going to take a look at. An odd arrangement of guitars being drawn to the sky by balloons makes up the front of this shirt along with an oddly placed 6-pack. I don’t really know why the 6-pack is there, but I guess where you find guitars there’s always a 6-pack around somewhere. I like the design because it is spaced out nicely and does not feel busy at all. Nice feel, American Apparel quality is evident.

Stego Plop on the other hand…. I don’t know where the inspiration for this shirt came from, but I would love to find out. Basically a stegosaurus with a giant, fresh “stego plop.” Not too appetizing, but the colors are funky and the shirt feels nice, which makes up for a lot. That is, if you want to walk around with dino poo on your shirt…

I think the stegosaurus and the poo t shirt looks just too funny. I still think the stegosaurus needs to have more detail it in and what about a slogan to go with the t-shirt?
