“Pigeons” is a design from a submission contest winner at Threadless. “Pigeons are rats with wings” is a pretty clever play on words and has the image to match. The rat in the pigeon suit is very original and definitely made me laugh when I saw it. A good shirt for you urban folk who would like to stick it to the pigeons or the rats.

Today’s shirt comes from one of the classics: T-Shirt Humor. In celebration of the chaos going down on Wall Street this past couple of months and all the talk about the ‘bail-out,’ we here at TShirtReview feel that everyone should be informed of what exactly the ‘bail-out’ plan entails. So for those of you that do know, because I haven’t a clue, please head on over to T-Shirt Humor and check out ‘Stimulus Package.’ Available in TEN different colors, even camo (whaaat?!?!).

Now when I think of baby clothes I think of cutesy little shirts with balloons and planes and ice cream etc. I’m sure its a pretty common association between baby clothes and precious little themes, but Boston based baby line Sammy Mac is looking to change that perception. What happens if your one year old boy has a liking to the rock and roll lifestyle? Or if your 8 month old hates shirts with baby blue trains on them and would prefer some Ed Hardy style threads? Sammy Mac has the solution for you. Inspired by founding patner Darin McKay’s son with an attitude hard to ignore, Sammy Mac provides edgy shirts and onesies for babies 6 to 18 months old.
This Department of Corrections shirt is sure to turn some heads not just because of the color, but because I don’t think anyone has ever seen a baby in an orange jailbird jumpsuit. A foreshadowing of things to come or a warning to everyone in the area, this is a pretty sweet baby shirt.

This Ed Hardy style banner shirt featuring “Sammy Mac” on the front has got to be the funniest thing I have ever seen. A baby would look so much cooler in this shirt than anything else out there. I mean, a baby with style? Available in short-sleeve and long sleeve, as well as inverted colors!!

DESIGNByRDS is an independent design studio specializing in “print work, advertising, web design, brand identity, posters, illustrations and apparel graphics.” As you can see they have a lot going on on their website. The t-shirts are very interesting and while they seem dark and gloomy they actually have some pretty cool designs. Unfortunately there is only a small selection right now, but I’m sure more are on their way, you can’t rush quality art.
“Youth Movement” immediately caught my attention because it looks like something straight out of Blade Runner. Hot Euro-chick with splattered with paint of some kind, German writing all over the shirt. There’s stuff going on everywhere here and it creates a nice youthful anarchy effect (the point I think?).

“Ripped of My Medal” is another cool design from DESIGNByRDS. From what I can tell its a bunch of different kinds of medals all over the front of the shirt. I can see an “I Like Ike” medal and one that has a giant eye so I’m thinking its composition is very random.

I’ve been known to get pretty moody when baseball is not in season, so what better way to combat the baseball blues than to feature a baseball shirt? I’ll tell you what’s better: featuring a classy baseball shirt. “K” comes to us today courtesy of Uppityshirts.com. The backwards K featured on the shirt is the classic sign for a strikeout looking, a most undistinguished way to go down, or as Uppityshirts describes it, “the ultimate embarrassment, ignominy.” Don’t go down looking, head over to Uppityshirts and check it out!!

A shout-out to the guys on Capitol Hill, “Grand Theft Auto Bailout Detroit” comes courtesy of tshirtbordello.com and is based on the idea that we all need a bailout at some point don’t we? “GTA Detroit” is one of tshirtbordello’s most popular new shirts and its easy to tell why. What’s better than making fun of the government and major American car companies? Mixing in some violent video games of course!!
