Today’s feature shirt comes courtesy of Armhole.com. Make a statement about world politics while looking sharp at the same time with “Peace in the Middle East.” Even if you don’t really know the issues or the individuals, chicks DIG peace. This shirt comes in a choice of 6 colors and there’s even an option for the ladies to add metallic foil for an extra charge. You can also choose where on the shirt you would like the text to go (front left, back center, etc.).
Nerdy Shirts is currently having a huge clearance sale as a precursor to relaunching their site next week. Every day 4 new shirts will be offered for the unheard of low price of $4.99 a shirt until the design is completely sold out, never to be printed again. Check it out for some amazing deals and offer your good-byes to some classic shirts. Here are some of the shirts up for sale so far:
Even though there wasn’t much success in the end for this campaign, in an attempt to make himself look young again McCain employed the help of renowned master politician Tina Fey… or was it Paulin? Palin? Whatever, she was HOT!! Whichever side of the fence you stand on there’s something we can all agree on: Palin=MILF.
On the other side of the political spectrum we have the victor: Obama. I know we’ve been featuring a lot of Obama stuff but I just had to feature this one. While the message is debatable (we’ll find out in 4 years won’t we) the innappropriate nature of the words mixed with politics makes for great clothing.
We usually try to go with a revolving door policy about trying to rotate sites we’re using, but BustedTees is going to be featured again today as they are following up their 100 shirt semi-annual sale with the Super Bowl sale. These four football related shirts are being offered for just $12 each from now until noon on Super Bowl Sunday, January 26.
The first shirt featured is a tribute to the runner-up from last year’s Super Bowl (kind of hard to call them losers) the New England Patriots. This however, is not a shirt any Pats fan would want because instead of the 19-0 dream season, its 18-1. Should see a lot of purchases from New York and Miami fans…
Fantasy Football, the ultimate in fan participation. The perfect cross between real life and fantasy in terms of the NFL. This football reality game replaces football video games as the way to compete this season. Merlin throwing up the Heisman is a perfect graphic for any fantasy footballer you might know.
This Favre shirt might seem a little old but the message is clear: let him go. A nice addition to any Packers fan’s closet out there who might want to give a little extra backing to their management. I’ll post again if its offered in Jets green and white, I know the New York fans out there want this one too.
The last featured shirt on the Super Bowl sale is a little stab back at our friends around the world who tend to remind us at any critical juncture that football actually means soccer and we’re a bunch of ignorant blah, blah, blah… Take this World:
The super cool thing about this Super Bowl sale is that there are 4 shirts featured for just $12, and coincidentally BustedTees offers buy 4 shirts, get free shipping. What a deal!!
Here’s a shirt that you might not want to wear out to a bar at night with your friends, unless you really want them to know what to expect. The classic “cockblock” comes to life in the form of a helmet toting rooster ready to ruin your night. Brownturtle.com ensures at least a few laughs (along with some angry glares) with this depiction of man’s worst enemy. I wish the shirt was available in more than one color, but slate looks great with anything. Its a 100% Preshrunk cotton tubular jersey shirt, and double needle reinforced on the bottom hem and sleeves to ensure quality.
Today we’re featuring a design contest winning shirt from BlackEyedT. BlackEyedT gives you the opportunity to design a shirt around the idea of a “go action slogan.” Examples of “go action slogans” include : “go take a hike”, “let’s go dancing” etc., and the idea is to combine the slogan with a picture. You then submit your design and its voted on by the general public and if you win you get $500 straight cash, $100 BlackEyedT store credit, and $500 for each 1000 shirts sold up to $2000.
The winning design we are featuring today is “Go Long” and it features an old school longboard with retro-style text across the board reading “Go Long.” Its printed on American Apparel shirts to provide the best in comfort. “Go Long” is a pseudo-classy tee that can be worn on a wide range of occasions.
The BustedTees semi-annual sale has now been extended!! While it was originally scheduled to end Sunday 1/18 at midnight it has now been extended 24 hours and will end 1/19 at 11:59pm. BustedTees is featuring 100 shirts for only $10 each but you have to act quickly!! Here are some of the shirts on sale:
Loiter Apparel and Accessories is having a $1,000 cash prize (plus 20% royalty for life) contest through January 31 for the best t-shirt design you can come up with. Here are some examples of the kinds of shirts they do:
As you can see Loiter does some pretty funny shirts so you really need to step up your game with the submission!
Just in time for inauguration day NerdyShirts not only presents a pretty sweet Obama shirt, but an on sale pretty sweet Obama shirt! For those of you liberals looking to get liberal and “Barack On” here’s your chance. The shirt is black graffiti stencil style on a Heather Gray shirt. If anyone knows where to get a “Bush Off” shirt, please let us know ASAP.
These shirts may be for a targeted audience, but they are very well done either way. They run a bit large, so if you wear an XL American Apparel, order a Large from this company.
The shirts are screen printed on a heavy cotton tshirt with a custom label, custom tag sewn on the bottom, and extremely well printed. There is also a “COPA livin” logo on the back upper part of the shirt. The main shirts are the “Gunshine” style shirts which feature a pistol and the state of FL together. Immediately you’ll know if these shirts are for you. Copa Livin also has a new design in one color on the site, see below.
The “I am FL” shirts come in a variety of colors including Black, Red, and Blue.
Today I decided to feature a little special for our friends north of the border. I’m not sure if they would find this shirt funny or take offense, but its really not a huge concern of mine either way. CrackSmokingShirts is renowned for their funny and offensive shirts and they claim that this is a tribute to their Canadian fans. “Fuckin’ Eh” is another word-play gem that manages to look pretty sweet in the process. Just looking at that maple leaf makes me want to jump into my car and drive up north for some fries and gravy… By the way, CrackSmokingShirts is currently having a 10-25% off sale, check their website for more details.
“Nature Calls” from Threadless T-Shirts is a good start to “going green” and getting in touch with nature. If a singing bird and a bicycle covered in ivy doesn’t scream “go outside and appreciate the world,” I don’t know what does. In addition to being all new-age, chicks DIG nature and those in touch with it.
Bumpnose has provided us with another instant classic in the alcohol-related t-shirt world. “Also Available in Sober” is perfect for the heavy drinker you know, as a joke or as a wake up call. The olive makes me pretty thirsty for a martini however… Rated 3/5 stars on Bumpnose, check it out.
BetterThanPants is featuring the shirt that says it all: “I Meet or Exceed Expectations” is a great way to say what you’re all about upon first impression. The classic saloonesque font keeps the shirt looking sharp and clean and is a good alternative to classic over-the-top sexual innuendos. Available in 11 different colors!!
