You may or may not remember Custom Industries. To recap, they sell very unique looking shirts (in design, style, material, etc), and they usually have some foreign deity on them, always being influenced by a foreign culture. They have some new shirts out along with some hoodies, so here’s an update on their latest styles.

Destination: Java, Indonesia
Location: Southeast Asia
The giant 10 headed ogre DASA MUKA is considered to be a real lowlife in Javanese mythology. Obsessed with power, selfish greed & lust, each head is on the look out for his next scam. Acting like Dasa Muka while visiting an Indonesian home will get you nowhere. His effigy is there to ward off bad behavior.

Destination: China
Location: East Asia
The mythical QILIN, or Chinese unicorn, is a peaceful, serene creature. It’s a vegetarian, it looks out for all living things & is even careful stepping on grass. Qilin’s no wimp, though. If it catches you bullying the weak, it will burn you alive with its breath of scorching fire.

Destination: Banteay Srei, Cambodia
Location: Southeast Asia
Forget about network prime-time, the carved walls of the ancient Hindu temple of BANTEAY SREI depict scenes of enough lust, greed, murder & supernatural activity to keep you gossiping at the water cooler for weeks. The adulterous & vengeful god Indra steals the show atop his 3 headed elephant, raing lightening bolts upon his foes in a drunken stupor.
So as you can see, very different from the traditional shirt company. I really like their thermals, they’re snug fitting and make perfect undershirts with a jacket for going out, then once inside with the jacket off, they’re very classy looking. The shirt designs spark interesting conversation with any audience, so be prepared to explain the shirt, which is made easy since each shirt has a description and location on the website.
Shirts hover around $36 and they’re worth every dollar. Custom Industries takes Visa, Mastercard, and Paypal. I like it when sites take paypal.
