Think Threadless has enough $10 sales? Yah me either, I love them. They’re doing one right now until Sept 3rd, so act fast before everything sells out. Things to watch for:
Flowers in the Attic is back???!!!! WHAT

Bright Lights is back:

Cool fish / ocean shirt called “Strength In Numbers”:

Grave of the fireflies is a sweet shirt for anyone who grew up with lightning bugs. I personally didn’t, but when I used to go up north as a child, I’d hit them with bats or catch them and squish them on friends.

And last, this take on Tetris is pretty cool:

Go and buy lots of shirts for $10 each. What a perfect time to have one of the gift cards we give away, raffle, or sell on a random basis!

In the mail today came a package from Nervy Apparel, out of Tampa, Florida. They sent us a shirt called Benedito. It’s a nice looking shirt and the colors work together very well. The one problem? They didn’t let me choose a design, and sent a shirt all in Spanish, so I have no idea what it says. If anyone would care to translate some of it, I’ll post an edit.
Benedito:

Price: $22 normally, but on sale for $16 currently.
Get It Here
The shirt is what looks to be a “Standard American” version of American Apparel, my favorite type of American Apparel. These are a bit more loose fitting and shrink much less. The XL is actually pretty large and long on the torso. The print quality is great, multiple color screening. Something unique is that the design actually goes all the way up onto the collar of the shirt, something I’m not sure I like. There’s too much blank space, the design should of been lowered about 6 inches. These shirts are actually printed by Merchline, not Nervy themselves.

Mixerfriendly is the official vinly t-shirt company for tshirtreview.com. I love them, and I love vinyl, it’s no secret. After picking up two of their latest designs, they deliver quality, time after time. The prints are great quality, the shirts have minimal shrinkage, and hold up fine after dozens of washes over the years.
Here’s the two new ones:

Both are $28. Check out Mixerfriendly if you love Vinyl.

So I just had lunch with the people from Busted Tees, who are incredibly nice and hospitable, and I’ll have a video soon and photos, but here’s a sneak peak of the office. I will also have some big news about Busted Tees but that will have to wait until Thursday, so look for that update soon. New York is a blast.

Finally, Threadless has impressed us all with a solid update of shirts. Usually 1 out of the 10 or so, is decent to where you’d almost buy it, maybe if it was $10. Well this week they put out some quality:
Comedy:

Original and awesome artwork:

Maybe a little too large on the size of the print:

LOL wtf?

Flippin’ Sweet Gear is a pretty large t-shirt company that has a range of shirts that include:
- Tv/Movies
- Funny
- Political
- Holiday
- Retro
- Party
Each of these categories is then broken down further into subcategories. I’m not going to list them all, just believe me that there are a lot of them. So the end result is, a lot of shirts. The “I love XXXX” series alone has 52 shirts in it.
Something to note is that all of their shirts are sold via cafepress, which in the t-shirt industry, isn’t always the best way to do things, but you do get a certain consistency and if you’ve ever ordered from Cafepress before, then you know exactly what to expect.
The t-shirts are around $20, with different types available such as girlie tank tops, golf shirts, etc all ranging in price from $20, all the way to a full track suit for $44.95. I guess if they offer you every design in every type of clothing you could want, then they hope you won’t have to go else ware looking, but personally I think it overwhelms the viewer. You decide. They do have a flat rate $5 shipping which is nice.
Samples of their work:

Ok so how about some hot model pictures now? Yah I didn’t think you’d mind:

And just to be fair so I don’t get called a sexists, for all the ladies, here’s a dude in a shirt like 2 sizes too big:

Check out Flippin Sweet Gear, you could literally spend days on their site, they have that many t-shirts.
