Hidden

July 30th, 2007 by Matt

I figure it’s time for a threadless update. This is the only good new shirt:

Hidden - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

And only if you get it in green. Sorry girls, but that eggplant sucks.

Nuda Tees: Smoking Monkey

July 28th, 2007 by Matt

I received a package from Nuda Tees, who I had not heard of or even talked to before. They sent me quite possibly the brightest shirt I’ve ever owned in my life. This yellow shirt is like the sun’s blinding light put into a shirt that screams “LOOK AT ME” so loud as you walk down the street you might get ticketed for disorderly conduct. Was that a lame analogy? Probably. But it’s true, the shirt is the brightest yellow I’ve ever seen.

Price: $15

So it’s a monkey, smoking a cigarette on you’re shirt. Is it anti-smoking, saying that people who smoke are primitive and stupid? Or is it supposed to have some hidden indie meaning? I have no idea, you decide.

Concrete Hermit

July 20th, 2007 by Matt

What exactly is a Concrete Hermit? I have no idea. I went to their site to find out and it says:

““Punk is an attitude not an aesthetic”

Since 2004 Concrete Hermit has worked with selected artists, building its reputation by producing a range of graphically lead products including books, T-shirts and badges.”

So they sell artistic books, shirts, and badges. Books is a new one to me, but ok. Let’s focus on the t-shirts. They’re different.

Surprisingly this time however, different in a good way. We’ve seen some “Out There” t-shirt designs come and go, but these I’d wear, as compare to wearing and looking like I just broke out of the psycho ward. Concrete Hermit shirts are most notibly modeled by this “out there” looking guy with a scruffy beard and unkept hair. I’m not sure on the marketing plan on that one, but it must work, he’s used on every shirt.

So, what do we have here? Let’s see.

Monster Two Heads

What has two heads, four mouths, four eyes and lots of hair? This T-shirt design by Motomichi! Motomchi is a sweet asian designer.
Price: £25.00

60°boxes

Neon print – lots of boxes as the name suggests…
Price: £25.00

Amazing Power

Feel the amazing power of Al Murphys’ design. Make mere mortals tremble before your gaze… Al Murphy is the artist who designed this one. You decide who it’s supposed to depict.
Price: Guess…..Yup £25.00

All of these shirts are available in Britain and America. They have girlie tees too! The girlie tees are only £20.00.
Few girlie pics:

Chicken Wing Tees

July 16th, 2007 by Matt

Chicken Wing Tees is a site that only has one shirt, and I’m not really a fan of it. I guess some people are obsessed with celebrities, and this guy’s obsession falls with David Hasselhoff.

The single shirt has a quote, which I assume is real, about David and his taste.

Price: $10
Get It Here

Take advantage of the $10.00 David Hasselhoff Shirt Sale. This offer Expires August 1st and supplies are limited. The design is printed on 100% cotton and is available in sizes small through X-Large. Shipping is included in the price.

I’m hoping they expand their product line.

Dramatic Groundhog

July 7th, 2007 by Matt

Has everyone seen this video yet?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1Y73sPHKxw

Pretty funny, a very dramatic groundhog or chipmunk, not sure which. Busted Tees, who seems to be able to rip off any trend, has made a shirt for it.

Price: $17.99 printed on American Apparel. Order a size up.

Go Ape Shirts

July 6th, 2007 by Matt

And now for a look at the behind the scenes from the people at Go Ape Shirts.

They’ve got 3 new designs out.

Killovision
by Aaron Hogg

Shredder Got to Michelangelo

by Cameron McEwan

The Zombie of Oz
by Dean Fraser

All the designs are pretty neat, but let’s take a look at how they were made.

First the shirts are put on the press:

Then some ink is added:

More Ink:

And out pops a shirt:

All the new shirts are $18 each. They’re printed on American Apparel, so as always, order a size up for shrinkage. We’ve featured a couple of their shirts in the past, so it’s nice to see an update from a successful t-shirt company. Too many companies never update their shirts and go stagnant. They only accept paypal, which can be a downside, but you can always use your credit card through paypal if you don’t have money in an account. Shipping is $4.50 a shirt with an added dollar for every extra shirt. They do also accept designs, so if you’re a designer, you might as well submit with nothing to lose.

Porn Rock Gear

July 5th, 2007 by Matt

Porn? We don’t show it, and neither does Porn Rock Gear, but they do have some scandalous designs and “choice” words, so keep the kiddies away from this site.

Their newest design is one featuring the guys from a band called “New Edition”. Never heard of them? Me either, I had to do some research. They’re a bunch of guys from the 80′s that had a hit album called “Candy Girl”. Anyhow, if you know who they are, then you’re going to like the shirt.

Although the design is not original, the featuring of New Edition is, as we’ve featured this design before from another site.

Price: $28
Printed on American Apparel, so order a size up.

The site features other items, mostly things that girls would wear, such as the following:

Girl Next Door Women’s T-Shirt

Price: $20

Available colors:
* Black
* Pink
* Red
* Purple

“Sloot” Wife Beater:

Price: $20

Available colors:
* White
* Black
* Coral
* Kelly Green
* Fuchsia

And even some “Fat Shoe Laces”:

Price: $4.50

As you can see, Porn Rock Gear pushes the envelope a bit, but I can think of a few people I’d give their items to…

Transformers

July 4th, 2007 by Matt

I went and saw Transformers last night, it was pretty kick ass. I then got an email saying that Nerdy Shirts is having a big sale with new Transformers shirts also available.

$5? Holy inexpensive megatron.

Here are some of the designs:

Robot In Disguise
Price: $20

Vintage Re-Issue: Optimus Prime Grill
Price: $24.95

Vintage Re-Issue: Transformers 1984 Movie Poster
Price: $24.95

Vintage Re-Issue: Optimus Prime ’84 Throwback
Price: $24.95

Vintage Re-Issue: The Decepticons! t-shirt
Price: $24.95

Ok so the $5 shirts might not be the Transformers ones, but they do have shirts that are really inexpensive along with these great new ones. Check out Nerdy Shirts.
