We have a new look. What do you think?

I updated the software we were using, and changed the theme around, still working on it. If you notice any bugs, please let me know ASAP! Your opinion matters more then anything else, so people, please give me some feedback.

Threadless Sale + Contest

May 30th, 2007 by Matt

Threadless just unleashed a fury of new stuff. Not only do they have a ton of new shirts, they’re selling them all at $10 until June 3rd, and there is a contest where you could win some cool stuff just for taking a photo.

“It’s time to put on a Threadless tee and head out to your local landmark! If enough people send in photos in front of the spots listed, we’ll extend the sale until Monday, June 4th to include the new tee shirts that will be coming out then!! Let’s see some worldly Threadless love!

Each blue pin on the map represents a location that doesn’t yet have a photo submitted. To join the fun and contribute, first find a location you can represent. Then, grab one of your Threadless tees and a camera. Head on over to the spot, snap a photo in front of it and submit it right here! If the Threadless community can collectively fill up all of the locations on the map, we’ll extend the sale!

Every person that sends in an approved photo will also be entered for a chance to win the cooler full of goodies!

Submit a photo to the “Wear in the World is Threadless” contest for a chance to win! Your name gets added one time for each approved photo. This means that if you submit 10 photos that all get approved, your name gets entered 10 times!”

Here’s the new shirts that don’t suck:

Zen Gardens Make Me Angry - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

Descent - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

Decay - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

That’s it, the others suck… a lot.

They also have a crapload of baby tees and some reprints.

Super Superficial

May 29th, 2007 by Matt

Another site from across the pond, Super Superficial sent us a nice little sample of their wares.

This site just got started, and they’re giving away free shirts. That’s right, absolutely free shirts when you place an order. You can get an official “Super Superficial” shirt with the purchase of any other shirt on the site, if you are one of the first 100 to order!

My favorite shirt on the site is “Announcement”, design by: Nayeon Kim.

(Click for a larger version)
This one comes in both long sleeve, which I got, and a regular short sleeve t-shirt version. The prices are £ 15.00 and £ 18.00 respectively. The shirt was pretty thick, which is a big plus. I really don’t like the super thin, tight fitting shirts like American Apparel.

The free shirt you get with your order is this one:

So, check out Super Superficial and let me know what you guys think. I look forward to seeing this site grow and adding some new designs.

Threadless goes to a new level of LAME

May 25th, 2007 by Matt

How lame is this shirt?

Spoilt - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

Why the hell is threadless putting out stuff like this?

Could we get a little more emo?

Deer Organ - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

I’m really disappointed with Threadless this week.

DonkeyT’s

May 24th, 2007 by Matt

Another in your face, rock your world, have everyone in the bar stop and look at you, t-shirt site has emerged on our radar.

DonkeyTs.com

About half of the designs are not original, but there are some diamonds in the rough. As stated previously, seeing the same shirts over and over is really boring. These shirts aren’t much my style, as I prefer to express myself verbally, not on my shirt, but I think a vast majority of people would like them.

Here’s some examples:

This one I thought was hilarious:

And then there’s some that I wouldn’t go out in public if someone I knew was wearing:

All of their shirts are different prices. Some are $14, most being $16. They are printed on generic 50/50 shirts, with their own labels. So you can buy your regular size and not worry about shrinkage.

Check out DonkeyTs!

Another Making Your Own T-Shirts Thing

May 22nd, 2007 by Matt

From time to time, I get requests on information to make your own t-shirts. I came across this “weekend projects” version of making your own shirts. They have several different methods and all of them can be done at home with little money.

Here is the link (click)

Have any of you out these made your own shirts at home? If so send me some photos and I’ll put them up on the site.

Light, Medium, Heavy

May 20th, 2007 by Matt

I recently bought my first house, and moved in. I apologize for the lack of updates, there’s always more work to be done on a house.

Huzzah Goods sent us this shirt prior to the move.

Colors: Light Blue, Green, and Red on Creme
Shipping: $4.05 for US & Canada; $9.50 for everywhere else
Payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and now with Paypal
Unisex: American Apparel Men’s Fine Jersey
Ladies: American Apparel Women’s Fine Jersey
BUY IT HERE

We’ve never really been the gear head types. Living in a medium-sized pedestrian city has given us little use for actually owning cars, and as such the entire automotive world has remained a strange, mysterious beast that we have no inclination of acquainting ourselves with.

But fake vehicles we’ve seen in video games? Well that’s a different story. We may not know our carburetors from our drive shafts, but we can certainly tell you all about the pros and cons of driving the Piranha Pipes versus the Go-Go Buggy!

So here, then, is a quick primer on all the most recent major models, cleanly organized and deliciously color-coded by size and weight. Most excellent!

Custom Avenue

May 15th, 2007 by Matt

If you’re like me, you have some ideas for shirts that you’d like, but can’t find them online. Custom Avenue eliminates this dilemma and brings you a design studio that is both easy to use, and has great text, art, colors, etc.

I couldn’t get the widget to work with this version of our software for posting, but this is what it looks like:

and this tool bar next to it:

Like I said, it’s really easy to use, and there is no minimum order.

A really cool feature is that you can create and account and save your designs. You can continue to work on them at a later date. Don’t like the stock art they provide? You can even upload your own art for the shirts, which is probably the best feature.

You can design your whole shirt in photoshop so it looks really nice, then upload it to them and put it on a shirt. A single shirt is only $18.89, which is a really good price for a single printed shirt. When you go to local shops, they are around $20 each, and there is a minimum order of 24.

Here is a direct link to their Design Studio, so check it out.

The creators of the site visit our site, so I’m sure if you have questions or comments, you can post them here and they will respond and help.

New from Snorg

May 9th, 2007 by Matt

SnorgTees has some new shirts up.

The shirts are $15.95 and $16.95 respectively.

They also have some limited edition hooides. I like to buy my hoodies in the summer since they are clearing them out usually, and are much cheaper then during winter time.

Trippin Tees

May 8th, 2007 by Matt

Like Trippin? Like Tee’s?.. Well I like Tee’s, so this site works.

Trippin Tee’s.

Anyhow, to describe the site, it’s a lot of text shirts with simple graphics. Most of it is on the low level of whitty, and mildly funny. Right now they are running a $5.99 and up sale on their shirts. $4 flat rate shipping, no matter how many shirts you order I believe.

Spray Graphic Update

May 4th, 2007 by Matt

I wanted to show off a few more items from Spraygraphic. They have some of the hippest clothing around, at the right price, and on the right material. No cheap Haynes shirts here.

They have a full line of clothing including: Tee’s, Jackets, Long Sleeve, Collared Shirts, Dresses, and Tank Tops. Most styles come in Men’s and Women’s.

Check them out.

Uppity Shirts

May 2nd, 2007 by Matt

Uppity Shirts are trying to dumb up t-shirt humor and save the world. Well… they’re doing the first part.

They sent us a brand tee that just says uppity, on American Apparel, so it’ll make a good undershirt. I like some of their other shirts though, mostly because I love beer shirts.

I like this one a lot, it’s so very true.
Price: $25
Printed on American Apparel, so order a size up.
Get It Here

Most of the shirts I don’t get, so I’ll just post three that maybe someone else WILL get, and buy.

I like the DAM one, pretty clever.

Anyhow, check them out. All shirts are $25.
