Okayboy.net

June 29th, 2006 by Matt

Here’s a company I can almost gaurentee you’ve never heard of, but you should of!

The site is actually more then just your average T-Shirt site, it is also a comic strip.

“okayboy is okay”
This is the comic. It’s about okayboy. His friends mostly consist of inanimate objects. Some talk to him and some don’t. But he’s okay and that’s pretty much all you need to know. “okayboy is okay” is not necessarily a “funny” comic. Though, if you happen to find it amusing that’s perfectly fine. I’m adding new strips twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday.

Okayboy.net is also selling t-shirts with original designs.
They sent 2 shirts:

and

These shirts are so soft, I’m actually wearing the first one right now. I’ve washed it, and since it’s American Apparel, it shrunk a full size, so order one size up.

Price: € 23.00

They come in both Men’s and Women’s sizes.

Oddica Clothing

June 28th, 2006 by Matt

Oddica Clothing, something you may or may not of heard of before, has just released some new prints and even re-printed one of my personal favorites.

Troy Paiva thinks Inside the Box, giving us a fresh look at the source of the Boom. You could literally look at this shirt for an hour and still ponder how it all works together. The shirt is in the washing machine as I’m typing this to find out how it shrinks, as it seemed a bit big for American Apparel, but normally they shrink down a full size, so order one size up.

Color: AA Royal, Girls 2x AA Navy

Price: $20

Stewart / Colbert 2008

June 25th, 2006 by Matt

Finally a good version of this shirt has hit the market.

If “Vote or Die” were real legislation, can you imagine how lazy you would have to be to still not get around to registering?

New from Busted Tee’s is the John Stewart and Steven Colbert, president team for 2008 elections. We all know we’d vote for them, just like we voted in (not me, hell no it was you idiots) the Terminator for governor.

Price: $17.99

Every once in a while we’ll get a package out of the blue that we were not expecting. Today was one of those days…

Here’s a few of the shirts they sent:

Amerikan Doggu, happiness on a stick, remembered fondly from Tokyo to Topeka. – Madoka Ito

Cannot say enough about how well this print came out. A fun print with urban style that everyone loves. There is word that a fight almost broke out to obtain one once. This shirt is that cool!

This one I really love, it’s from Dr. Strangelove, one of the best movies ever.

Smile

June 13th, 2006 by Matt

Another that we recieved from No Star was “Smile”.

I’m a photographer by trade, photo editor for a newspaper, so this shirt caught my eye right away, I love photography shirts.

It’s probably the “boldest” color I’ve ever worn around, but it got a ton of compliments from people that really liked it, and did indeed, Smile at me.

Undercover Pirate

June 7th, 2006 by Matt

This could quite possibly be my favorite shirt on the internet, of all time. No suprise it comes from Threadless. My hero, the designer, is Burgess Voshell. This arrived along with the Doin My Best shirt in the last update, and I wore it right away. It matches well with the Camo Shorts that they sell at Wal-Mart in desert pattern, also for $15.

Doin My Best

June 6th, 2006 by Matt

I just got this threadless design in the mail, it’s done by Thomas Chosson, and it rocks. The colors are really unique and so is the location, something you don’t see all that often from threadless. Mine is the black version with the neon colored blast cloud and man with the briefcase.

Reach for the Sky

June 5th, 2006 by Matt

This shirt comes to us in a limited print of 100 shirts in total spread across mens and women’s sizes. It is from Go Ape Shirts, which is from what it seems, just starting up. They use paypal buttons to buy shirts, lack a shopping cart, and product pages. At least product shots are now up. The designs are pretty nice. The quality is great, so despite what may be a cheap looking site (no offense), the shirts are far from “cheap” in quality and design. I love that they have no tag, and have screen printed their own tag information right onto the shirt.

All of the designs are screen printed on American Apparel shirts. These are 100% cotton, sweatshop-free, and made in the USA. They are very soft, and they do tend to run a little bit smaller than regular bulky t-shirts. If you are a borderline size, I would recommend ordering the larger size. The original tags are removed and a Go Ape Shirts tag is printed inside, so there is no more itchy tag.

Payments can be made through Paypal. One shirt is $18.00 + $4.50 shipping and handling. For each shirt after that the shipping is only $1 more.
